RN:  We're looking for a benefit-eligible (approx. 30-32 hours per week) RN for the Triage department at our Edina peds clinic. Additional hours can be gained with flexibility to travel to our Eden Prairie and Burnsville locations.  

Responsibilities:

  • Telephone triage advice using established protocols 
  • Scheduling same-day appointments for ill children
  • Proposing medications, lab orders, and immunizations
  • Communication with physicians

RN Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license in the state of MN
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with electronic health records

LPN/CMA (AAMA):  We are looking for a full-time LPN and/or CMA for the clinic nursing team at our Burnsville location. Hours available include weekdays 8am-5pm, evening clinic from 5pm-9pm, and rotating Sat. morning.  This position provides and supports quality patient care through a variety of day-to-day functions. Experience with pediatric procedures is valued, EMR/EHR experience is preferred. 

LPN/CMA Responsibilities:

  • comprehensive intake including: height, weight, and vitals
  • hearing & vision screens
  • assisting physicians with procedures
  • LPNs will use clinical skills such as: caths, neb treatments, and antibiotic injections
  • patient/family education
  • care coordination
  • documentation in the EMR
  • cleaning/stocking clinic rooms

Billing:  We would like to add a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to our Edina business office team. Our business office holds strict standards in confidentiality, and requires strong professional office skills. Attention to detail, strong phone skills, and the ability to drive independent work in a quiet, fast-paced environment is required. 

Billing Responsibilities: 

  • Process electronic remits
  • Review EOBs and other insurance documentation
  • Process PPO & HMO claims
  • Accounts receivable and payment posting
  • ICD & CPT coding
  • Follow-up on denied claims, and appeals
  • Resolve patient billing inquiries
  • Account management

Scheduling: We seek a full-time appointment scheduler, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, at our Edina clinic. Desired candidates will have strong customer service skills, effective listening and telephone etiquette, and accurate computer/keyboarding skills. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls through Southdale Peds future appointment scheduling system
  • Verify necessary account information, including demographics and insurance, to assure the patient is prepared for their next interaction with the care team
  • Follow guidelines regarding individual physician schedules along with defined scripts to ensure calls are handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
