words from our patients

“I love Southdale Pediatrics!  Since the birth of our first child in 2005, we have consistently received compassionate, quality care by our regular provider and all others. We especially love the nurse line. The Advisors are always supportive and helpful. ”

Susan

“We have had great experience with all of the doctors we've seen here. I especially appreciate the great care our children have received as babies when two of them needed more critical care and hospital stays. I also really appreciate the nurse line and after hours nurse connection. This is so important to me, as it got me to take my seven week old baby into Children's Hospital right away. Thank you for all you do.”

Biography

I work part-time Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Edina location. I live in Southwest Minneapolis with my husband, three children and two very energetic dogs. I feel a good sense of balance between my home and work life and am thankful to have time to care for my family while helping care for yours. In my spare time I enjoy singing in a choir with my husband, stopping at garage sales and thrift shops, cooking healthy meals with our farm share veggies, volunteering in my kid's school library, and dreaming about time at my cabin.

The greatest enjoyment I have as a pediatrician is experiencing the diversity in individual patients and families. I believe in addressing the needs of the whole child—emotional, social, academic, developmental and medical. Conversations about community resources, healthy nutrition, and family support are vital for your child’s complete care.
