Get to Know Amy Wudel, MD

Why did you choose pediatrics?

As a pediatrician, I have the ability to make a huge impact in a child’s life as they grow and develop. I enjoy the variety of ages, the honesty and innocence of kids, and being able to “play” at work. I also enjoy helping parents through many important milestones and challenges through the years.

What do you enjoy most about Southdale Pediatrics?

I love being part of a large group of amazing physicians who truly support each other. As a private practice we are able to provide efficient, high quality care for our patients.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy playing golf, traveling, watching football and Twins baseball, and having fun with my husband and twin daughters.

What is your favorite place to visit in Minnesota?

Hazeltine in Chaska; I have been golfing there with my parents since I was four years old and I love continuing that legacy with my own family.

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Rochester, MN and moved to Eden Prairie when I was three years old.
